Obituary of Juanita Clark Kirby

Obituary Notice Funeral services for Mrs. Juanita Clark Kirby, age 71, of Wadley, will be held, Wednesday, December 8, 2010, at 2:00 pm, from the El Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Fred Flowers and Rev. Ken Bowman officiating. Burial will follow at Rock Stand Congregational Christian Church Cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home of Wedowee in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 7, 2010. Mrs. Kirby died Monday, December 6, 2010 at East Alabama Medical Center. Mrs. Kirby is survived by her husband, Derrell Kirby of Wadley; one son, Wayne (wife Shirley) of Roanoke; one daughter, Sharon (husband Kevin) Brown of Graham; her mother, Cora Lee Clark; two grand-daughters, Ashley and Amanda Kirby; one grandson, Jonathan Brown; three brothers, James, Charles and Jimmy Clark; two sisters, Becky Burton and Kathy Brooks. Mrs. Kirby was born, April 18, 1939, the daughter of Grady and Cora Lee Eiland Clark. She was a member of El Bethel Baptist Church and had been a housewife.
