Obituary of Henry Sanford Bradley

Funeral services for Henry Sanford (H.S.) Bradley, age 95 of Wedowee will be held Wednesday December 25, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Benefield Funeral Home of Wedowee Chapel with Rev. David Phillips and Rev. David Holcombe officiating. Burial will follow in the Valley Grove Baptist Cemetery.
Mrs. Bradley passed away Monday December 13, 2010 at Wedowee Hospital.
Mr. Bradley is survived by two daughters, Shirley Long and Margaret Huey, three sons, Jack Bradley, Joe Bradley, and Johnny Ray Bradley, all of Wedowee. Eighteen grandchildren, thirty-four great-grandchildren and fourteen great great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Tim Long, Greg Huey, Mike Huey, Shean Bradley, Joey Bradley, Josh Stearns, Seth Bradley, Taylor Bradley, Mike Moretz, and Gary Bradley. Honorary Pallbearers will be great grandchildren.
Mr. Bradley was born Feb. 9, 1915 the son of John Wyatt and Mary Jane Yates Bradley. He was a farmer and a member of Bethel West Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Onie C. Bradley, one daughter Peggy Sue Moretz, four brothers and four sisters
The family will receive friends at Benefield Funeral Home of Wedowee on Tuesday December 14, 2010 from 4:30 till 8 PM.
