Funeral services Roger Dale Bailey age 57 of Woodland will be held Saturday December 18, 2010 at 1:00 PM at with Rev. Edward Castleberry, Rev. David Taft, and Rev. Lynn Janney officiating. Burial will follow in the Prospect Congregational Methodist Cemetery.
Mr. Bailey passed away Monday December 13, 2010.
Mr. Bailey is survived by his wife, Ruby Jane Bailey of Woodland, one daughter Jessica Marie Bailey of Woodland, one son Mick Josh Bailey Sr. of Woodland, two grandchildren Destiny Mahaley Bailey, and Mick Josh Bailey, Jr., two brothers Cecil Bailey And Clifford Bailey, both of Woodland.
Pallbearers will be Andy Bailey, Andrew Bailey, Matthew Jennings, Jeff Huddleston, Red Perry, Winford Moore Dennis Adamson, Mark Kirby, and Chris Phillips. Honorary Pallbearers will be Faron (Goat) Hill, Ronnie Merl Hill, Lee Sims, Larry Wilson, Frank Wilson, Jim Wakefield, Bill Lovvorn, Chris Lovvorn, Nick Noles, Jerome Suthers, Justin Whaley, Mike Bailey, Bo Bailey, and Clint Bailey.
Mr. Bailey was born November 2, 1953 the son of Hulett Watson and Eula Moore Bailey. He was a poultry farmer and a member of Prospect Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Margwen Wilson.
The family will receive friends at Benefield Funeral Home of Wedowee on Friday December 17, 2010 from 5 till 8 PM.
