Obituary Notice
Funeral services for Losette Parmer Spratlin age 73 of Woodland will be held Monday May 23, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Bethel East Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Whaley and Rev. Brad Horton officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
Mrs. Spratlin passed away Saturday May 21, 2011 at her residence.
Mrs. Spratlin is survived by her husband Earl Spratlin of Woodland, a son Steve (wife Tammy) Spratlin of Roanoke, a grandchild Chelsea Spratlin, two sisters Margaret Traylor of Graham and Linda Brown of Woodland, one brother Ridley Parmer of Woodland, two special caregivers Lynn Eason and Eva Wright.
Pallbearers will be Larry McManus, Junior Parmer, Brad Vines, Bobby Freeman, Johnathan Daniel and Randy Spruill.
Mrs. Spratlin was born September 12, 1937 the daughter of Hoyt and Venice Prescott Parmer. She was retired from Breman- Bowden Investment Company as a seamstress. She was a member of Bethel East Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Sara McManus.
The family suggest in lieu of flowers donations be made to the American Cancer Society or Bethel East Baptist Church, 18990 CR 87, Woodland, Alabama 36280.
The family will receive friends at Benefield Funeral Home-Wedowee on Sunday May 22, 2011 from 5 till 8 PM. The body will lie in state at the church 30 minutes before services.
