Obituary Notice
Funeral services for Janell Baldwin Moon age 71 of Woodland will be held Saturday April 21, 2012 at 11:00 AM from Highway Congregational Methodist Church with Rev. Vernon Willis officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
Mrs. Moon passed away Thursday April 19, 2012 at Roanoke Healthcare.
She is survived by a daughter Teresa Rollins of Woodland; three sons Jim Moon of Auburn, Tim Moon and Ken Moon both of Roanoke; one sister Jettie Veal of Roanoke; Richard Baldwin and Vertis Baldwin both of Roanoke; six grandchildren
Mrs. Moon was born July 8, 1940 the daughter of Earnest "Buck" and Cora Madden Baldwin. She was retired from Candlewick Yarns as a spinner and a Congregational Methodist by faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Hugh Moon and two brothers Roger and Curtis Baldwin.
The family will recieve friends at Benefield Funeral Home- Wedowee on Friday April 20, 2012 from 5 till 8 PM. The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to services.
