Obituary Notice
Funeral services for Bettyjo Greene Parker age 79 of Temple, Ga. will be held Monday August 20, 2012 at 2:00 PM from Midway Methodist Church with Rev. Tim Wautlet officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
Mrs. Parker passed away Friday August 17, 2012 at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton. Ga.
Pallbearers will be Ray Ragan, Joey Yates, Alex Letendre, Randy Greene and Ray Henderson.
Mrs. Parker is survived by three daughters Gail Brown of Temple, Ga., Kathy Goodman of Woodland and Debbie Ann Cantrell of Wedowee; one sister Juliette Yates of Pell City and five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Parker was born June 7, 1933 the daughter of Joseph Leonard and Eula Brewer Greene. She was a retired inspector for Hurley Manufacturing and a Methodist by faith. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister Ramona Lowe; three brothers James A. Greene, Elger Greene and Radford Greene.
The family will receive friends at Benefield Funeral Home- Wedowee on Sunday August 19, 2012 from 5 till 8 PM. The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to services.
