Obituary Notice
Funeral services for Jeanette Craven Hill age 70 of Newell will be held Friday October 5, 2012 at 2:00 PM from Benefield Funeral Chapel with Rev. David Waldrop and Rev. Clay Pawley officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethel West Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Hill passed away Wednesday October 3, 2012 at Wedowee Hospital.
Mrs. Hill is survived by two daughters Tammy (Mike) Randall of Franklin, Ga. and Tabatha (Wendell) White of Wedowee; two sons Tommy ( Kathy) Hill of Bowden, Ga. and Terry Hill of Newell; six grandchildren, one step-grandchild and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Matt Hill, Travis Owen, Cody Spruill, Daniel Andrews, Jeffery Owen and Jeffery Craven.
Mrs. Hill was born June 7, 1942 the daughter of Connie and Minnie B. Parker Craven. She was a retired seamstress for Lamar Manufacturing Co. and a member of Open Door Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Alvin Hill, one sister and two brothers.
The family will receive friends on Thursday October 4, 2012 from 5 till 8 PM at Benefield Funeral Home- Wedowee.
