JohnBoy became one of my very best friends in High School when he transferred to Baker in 10th grade, we got along almost immediately having same backgrounds of being military families and similar interests. He was one of the most down to earth guys you could ever meet, loved to laugh, hunt and have a good time. He always road shotgun in my vehicle before he got his first car. He was one of the few you could count on in the thick of it regardless of the odds, he was always willing to put it all on the line for his true friends and family. We had many great times and memories growing up and even though life, families, careers and locations separated us he was never far from my mind or conversations with family and current friends. Thank you John for being such a good friend and influence in my life. The world was a much better place with you in it, you will be sorely missed and remembered.
To the family my deepest sympathy and condolences for your loss, I know his impact on your lives and I know he loved you all very much.
