I’m Bill Webb and I knew Jerry and Sandy from High School in Elk City, OK. I loved to hear Jerry play his guitar. They moved back to Albuquerque and I visited them there a few times. One winter their Grandmother in Elk City wanted to go visit them and I volunteered to take her. We ran into a blizzard as we got to New Mexico State line and it got so bad I couldn’t see the road. We stopped in a cafe where we met a truck driver and when he heard our story, he told me to drive close behind his truck and he would lead us into Albuquerque. It worked, we got to the Shouse home and had a nice visit. The whole family was so nice. I’m saddened to learn my friend Jerry has passed. I hope Sandy is well and life is good to her.
