Obituary Notice
Memorial services for, Jerry Wayne "Boot" Shouse, age 70, of Wedowee, will be 4:00 pm, Monday, October 29, 2012, from Benefield Funeral Chapel with Laurie McCord officiating. Benefield Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Shouse died Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at his home.
Mr. Shouse is survived by his wife, Judy Kay McCord Shouse of Wedowee; one step-daughter, Michelle LeBranc; one son-in-law, Darrell Ferris; one step-son, Jeremy Cooke; grand-daughter, Alexis Cooke; one grand-son, Tyler Cooke; one sister, Sandy Edwards and husband Larry; host of nephews.
Mr. Shouse was born April 19, 1942, the son of Russell S. and Gertrude Ahrnsbruk Shouse. He moved here from Albuquerque, New Mexico and was a master bootmaker, musician, songwriter and artist. "There wasn't anything Jerry couldn't fix." Mr. Shouse is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Steve Shouse. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Randolph County Animal Shelter.
